Our focus at Fab Academy is on personal fabrication, enabling you to transform your ideas into tangible products.

Our intensive five-month program equips students with the skills to envision, design, and prototype projects using cutting-edge digital fabrication tools and machines. It's a multi-disciplinary, hands-on learning experience that fosters a culture of learning by doing. Accreditation and Expertise
At the core of Fab Academy is its accreditation, rooted in MIT's rapid prototyping course (MAS.863/4.140/6.943): "How to Make (Almost) Anything." This affiliation ensures that you are learning from the very best.

Admission Requirements
To be eligible for Fab Academy, applicants should meet the following criteria:
Age: 18+ years old
- Availability: Commit to four days a week from January to July.
- Language Skills: Possess excellent English reading and writing skills.
- Project Ideas: While not mandatory, having an idea for a graduation project is preferred.
- Seat Capacity: Please note that we have limited availability with only 15 seats.

Program Overview
Degree: DIPLOMA IN PRINCIPLES AND APPLICATIONS OF DIGITAL FABRICATION.
Classes Start: 22 January 2025
Duration: 5 months of class + 1 of Evaluation
Weekly Commitment: 30 hours a week (depending on prior tech background)
Classes: Daily in-person classes at the ECAE FabLab in Abu Dhabi
Global Class: Wednesdays 9:00 to 12:00 EST (ranging from 6:00 on the West Coast to 23:00 in Japan)
Final Project: Delivered on June 2025
Language: The course is taught in English
