NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award for Special Educational Needs Coordinators in Early Years Settings
The Early Years Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) qualification is suitable for a Level 3 practitioner in a private, voluntary or independent setting. The qualification is designed for those already working in a SENCo role as part of their Early Years Practitioner role, or those who are interested in doing so.
- Learners should be employed in a position or have access to resources that would allow them to naturally generate evidence as per the qualification specification.
- Learners must be aged 14 or over
- Proficient in the English language and literacy, numeracy and health and saftey aspects as related to the qualification.
- Working in the SEN environment
This qualification is suitable for learners who envisage or currently have careers in such areas as healthcare, social work, nursing, counselling, early years and teaching.
