ECAE is a competency-based College. Through our range of graduate programs, you can access opportunities for initial teacher education, if you are an aspiring educator, continuous professional learning, if you are a serving teacher, and leadership learning and capacity-building, if you are an aspiring or serving school leader. All our programs are Signature Programs. They are anchored in UAE values and culture, based on educators' future competences, shaped by practicum and experiential learning, and support learning progression through holistic assessment of and for learning. Our programs cater to all career stages. ECAE’s programs will provide you with the support you need to reach your next career milestone wherever you find yourself along your Educational Competency Growth journey.
Our Signature Programs are accredited and align with the UAE's educational and school reform vision. They have been developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK), and are implemented by a well-qualified and experienced international faculty with expertise in research and teaching from around the world. As a result, our programs are recognized for their quality and rigour, and will provide you with powerful foundations for pursuing your Educators’ Competency Growth journey with us.
Post Graduate Diplomas
If you are a teacher of Science, Physics, Biology and Chemistry, the In-service PGDE program will provide you with opportunities to further build on your experience and expand your classroom skills and knowledge. The PGDE program is specifically designed for in-service Primary and Secondary teachers. Our tracks build subject knowledge and introduce leading edge innovative strategies for planning and teaching effective lessons based on the curriculum. The subject-based Practice Development Placement (Practicum) component of the program supports you develop new and innovative ways of supporting the students you teach improve their learning achievements.

The M.Ed. program provides practice-based,enquiry-informed professional growth opportunities for serving primary and secondary teachers and educators at any stage of their career. The program will provide you with opportunities to further build applied knowledge and understanding of leading-edge practices and outcomes of teaching, learning and assessment in your subject area. You will also have opportunities to plan, try out and refine innovations in different aspects of professional practice. The program will also support you make links between practice, innovation, theory, research, as well as national and international professional standard frameworks.

Credit Bearing Micro-Credentials
Our Credit Bearing Micro-Credentials (CBMCs) provide individuals with valuable lifelong learning opportunities through a flexible and learner-centric approach. These micro-credentials offer focused and concise learning experiences in various subjects, ensuring adherence to rigorous quality assurance standards. Our certificates encompass a range of specialized areas, including Teaching and Technology Integration, Child Development and Play-based Learning, and Literacy and STEM in Early Years Settings. By offering a blended model of learning, combining 52% face-to-face instruction with 48% online components, we strive to cater to diverse learning preferences and maximize accessibility. While CBMCs do not replace full qualifications, they play a crucial role in upskilling, reskilling, and professional development. We are dedicated to addressing market needs, supporting knowledge ecosystems, and enhancing educational access for all learners. Upon completion of a CBMC, you will receive a certificate and transcript that showcase your acquired competencies, providing a tangible demonstration of your skills and boosting your employability prospects.
