The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program is a four year program aligned to Level 7 in the UAE Qualification Framework – QF Emirates. The program ensures that graduates have both the theoretical and practical knowledge to make a real difference in teaching and learning in schools. The program focuses on the teaching of English, Maths and Science at primary school level.
The program consists of mandatory courses but the structure allows students to select an area of specialization in Year 3. This specialism is known as a concentration and it will appear on the certificate. The total number of credits for the program is 130.

Students studying the Bachelor of Education are given the opportunity to get hands on experience of life within the classroom through the Practicum. In Year 1 the practicum is mainly observational however by the end of the fourth year students are given the opportunity to participate in an internship that enables them to apply their skills for an extended period in the classroom.
The Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc.® has approved the following course sequence as meeting the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst Examination®. Applicants will have to meet additional requirements to qualify.
- ABA1: Concepts and Principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
- ABA2: Behavioral Assessment
- ABA3: Behavior Change Procedures
- ABA4: Applied Behavior Analysis Systems, Professional Issues and Ethics
Pass-rate data are not published for sequences with fewer than six first-time candidates in a single year or for sequences within their first four years of operation.
This program is accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation.
