BEd Year 3 Students Showcase their Learning Using Story Sacks

Students in year 3 of their Bachelor of Education Program (B Ed) are focusing on the teaching of reading to young learners. To apply what they have learned, they were asked to create a story sack around a children’s book, including activities to develop a child’s love of reading while maintaining an educational focus.

ECAE Hosts its 3rd Annual School-Community Partnership and Recognition Awards Ceremony

The ceremony was held on May 17th, 2011 at the Armed Officers Club and is a yearly occasion to celebrate the collaboration of the College with the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) and Abu Dhabi’s local private and public schools. It is also an opportunity to publicly acknowledge and award the schools and its administration for the support provided to ECAE students.

Students Recognized at Honor Roll Ceremony

ECAE recently honored 71 students who made the Honor Roll in Semester 1 of the academic year in a ceremony held at the Armed Officers Club. H.E. Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) Executive Director of School Operations, Professor Jim Mienczakowski, ECAE’s Vice-Chancellor, other senior staff members and the honorees families were among the attendees.

ECAE is Awarded Licensure and Accreditation by the CAA

During a press conference held on March 19, at the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al-Khaili, ADEC’s Director General, announced that the Emirates College for Advanced Education (ECAE) was awarded licensure and accreditation by the UAE Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The CAA develops licensure and accreditation requirements and processes to help bring about the highest standards of international academic accreditation practice.
