Ms. Tracey White holds an M.Phil in Teaching Modern Languages to Adults from the University of Dundee, Scotland, RSA Cambridge UCLES DTEFLA and CTEFLA. Prior to joining ECAE in 2014, she worked for 11 years as Team Leader, lecturer and trainer in the General Education Department at ADWC, HCT.

With over 25 years’ experience, she has taught ELT pedagogy, EFL, ESL, IELTS, GMAT, Train the Trainer, Journalism and Ecology.

As Manager for Training at British Council, Egypt, she provided Professional Development for in-house staff, delivered RSA Cambridge UCLES CELTA and DELTA courses and designed and delivered a Teacher Training programme for Secondary School teachers (The Cambridge Tutor Award).

At British Council, Syria, she was in charge of contract courses and specialized language services throughout the country, winning bids for language provision to a variety of clients such as Al Furat (Syrian National Oil Company), Civil Aviation Authority as well as military and UN Aid agencies.

Her research interests lie in the sociocultural influences of English as a Second Language and socio-affective factors in Learning.
