At present, 66 faculty guide 626 students in a B Ed Primary Education program, a Foundation program, a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) program, and Professional Development programs in schools.
The four-year B Ed program prepares students to become elementary teachers who teach Mathematics, and Science, and English in Abu Dhabi Education Council schools through the medium of English.
The Foundation program is intended for B Ed candidates who do not yet fulfill the degree entry requirements in English, Mathematics, and Science.
The one year (or part time equivalent) PGDE program prepares students to become specialized subject teachers for grades 5 – 12. Students will graduate as teachers in the subject(s) in which they majored as undergraduates.
