Office of Corporate Services
The Office of Corporate Services is responsible for the coordination of all non-academic functions of the College. In particular, the Office is responsible for the following functions: Management Audit; Institutional Operational Planning; Metapolicymaking; Governance Structures; Legal Matters; Annual Report; Administrative Computing Systems Protocols; Maintenance of Register of Resolutions; Development and Maintenance of Administration Manual; Records Management & Storage; Copyright Issues; Secretarial & Administrative Support to Departments. |
Academic Services Department
The Academic Services Department is responsible for the administration of students and related academic services.
In particular, the Department is responsible for the following functions: Admissions; Enrolments; Assessments / Examinations; Course Advising; Student Records; Student Statistical Reporting; Course Statistical Reporting; Transcripts of Academic Records; Testamurs; Attendance Management; Higher Degree Candidature; Provision of Student ID Cards; School Placements (Practicum); Student System Development & Maintenance; Class Timetabling. |
Student Affairs Department
The Student Affairs Department works collaboratively with faculty, staff and students to provide support services that enhance the student’s educational experience. In particular, the Department is responsible for the following functions: Personal Counseling; Student Welfare; Study Skills Development; Student Housing; Transport for Accommodations Students; Lockers; Lost and Found; Student Activities, Sports, and Recreation; Student Governance; Clubs; and Prize Management.

Asset Management Services Department
The Asset Management Services Department is responsible for the development and maintenance of the physical assets of the College. The Department also coordinates the provision of office services.
In particular, the Department is responsible for the following functions: Inventory & Storing; Grounds (Grounds Maintenance, Grounds Development, Internal & External Landscaping, and Plant Nursery); Properties (Parking, Security, Signs, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Cleaning, Waste Removal, Hazardous Waste, Waste Management, Pest Control, Room Usage, Building Repairs & Maintenance, Hire of Facilities, Furniture, Asset Register & Stocktake, Telephone Infrastructure, Minor Works, Motor Vehicle Maintenance, Vehicle Usage, Vehicle Breakdowns & Accidents, Hire of Vehicles, Vehicle Booking , Traffic & Driving, College Stores, Catering, and Hospitality Catering); Fire Prevention & Fire Safety (Fire Fighting Procedures, HSE plan, and Smoke Free-Area); Electricity (including Circuit-breaker resetting, Maintenance & Repair), Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC), Plumbing, Roofing, and Welding); Facilities Development (Capital Building Plan, Master Site Development Plan, and Campus Transfer); and Office Services (Receptionist Services, Switchboard Services, Freight / External Courier, Mail Collection, Mail Sorting, Mail Distribution, and Bulk Photocopying & Printing).
The Purchasing Section is also within the Asset Management Services Department and is responsible for the following activities: Internal Requisitions, External Orders, Coordination of Tender Documents, Arrangements for Tender Assessment, Negotiation of Service Contracts, Appointment of Preferred Suppliers, Non-Salary Items Budget Control, and Secretarial & Administrative Support to Purchasing Committee.

Finance Department
The Finance Department is responsible for providing accurate financial information and financial services which comply with internal and external regulations.
In particular, the Department is responsible for the following functions: Payroll (Payroll Preparation, Payroll Reconciliation, Stipend Administration, Salary Items Budget Control; and Accounts (General Ledger, Creditors Records, Debtors Records, Petty Cash Management, Cashiering, Banking, Bank Account Reconciliation, Investment Management, Accountable Documents Register, Budget Reports, Year-End Accounts, Budget Planning & Preparation). |
Human Resources Department
The Human Resources Department is responsible for the delivery of services aimed at recruiting, developing and retaining high quality employees.
In particular, the Department is responsible for the following functions: Strategic HRM (Job Design, Job Classification, Staff Establishment Maintenance, Emiratisation Processes, Workforce Planning); Staffing (Recruitment & Selection Processes, Vacancy Advertising, Personnel Records Maintenance & Storage, Leave Records Maintenance & Storage, Staff Travel, Staff Contract Administration, Personnel Appraisal Processes, Workers Compensation, Workplace Health and Safety, Staff Accommodation, Provision of Staff ID Cards); and Training & Development (Traineeship Programs, Staff Training Needs Analysis, Staff Development Programming). |
Information Technology Department
The Information Technology Department is responsible for the development and maintenance of the College’s information and communication technology infrastructure and equipment.
In particular, the Department is responsible for the following functions: General Software Standards; Hardware Standards; User Systems Administration; Systems Development; Network Administration and Maintenance; Equipment Set-Up; Equipment Maintenance; Audio-Visual Services; IT Help Desk; Website Development; Specialist Computer Programming. |
Public and International Relations Department
The Public and International Relations Department is responsible for developing the image and understanding of the College and its activities in all forms of media.
In particular, the Department is responsible for the following functions: Publicity; Student Recruitment & Marketing; Corporate Image; Market Research; Institutional Publications; Internal & External Newsletters; Co-ordination of Special Events; General Advertising; School Visits; Student Enquiries; Printing; Graphic Design; Desktop Publishing; College Publications Layout; Website Design and Maintenance; Translation Services; Journalism / Media Services.
